KINGMAN, AZ <! > - George Clinch, 94 of Kingman, Arizona, formerly of Elsinore and Monroe, Utah, died August 30, 2001 in King-man.

He was born May 9, 1907 in London, England, to Caroline Lucy and George Wil-liam Clinch Sr. He married June Irene Tuttle. They had two children and later di-vorced. He married Fredrika Hermansen Williams, March 9, 1943 in Bell Gardens, CA.

He officially became a citizen of the United Sates on January 8, 1943. He worked at many different jobs in his life, but was working as a plumber at the time of his marriage to Fredrika. That is what he did until the day he retired.

He and Fredrika raised their combined families in Bell Gardens, CA. They moved to Parowan, Utah after his retirement in 1968. He loved to travel and go mountain climbing. He belonged to the Sierra Mountain Climbing Search and Rescue and was also an instructor.

After his wife died, he moved from Elsinore, Utah where he and Fredrika had been residing near her daughter and family to Riverside, Ca with his son, then they all moved later to Kingman.

He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Clinch (Carl) McCalman of Palmdale, CA; son, George William (Kathy) Clinch III of Kingman, AZ; step-daughter, Mary Carol Williams Demings Dresen of Elsinore, Utah and foster son, John (Dorothy) Garrett of Temecula, Ca. He has several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; both wives; step-daughter, Shirley Luella Williams Kirby Dresen; sons-in-law, Edward Arnold Dresen and bobby Voll Demings.

He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed greatly.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 11 a.m. in the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, Richfield, Utah, where friends may call on Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery.
