Floyd Alexander Colibert, our most beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend was taken from us August 30, 2001 as a result of a tragic accident while riding his Harley.

Floyd was born Feb 25, 1932 to John Theodore Colibert and Ada Mae Addis in Osowatomie, KS. He married Inge Wagner; later divorced. Married his soul mate, Janet Marie Kunz, July 6, 1973 in Elko, NV.

Floyd created Colibert Enterprises, Inc., Mfg. in 1976 and was a well respected, successful businessman, inventor, designer, and engineer known for his many talents and creativity. He was a lifelong member of the Masonic Northstar Lodge #168 Wichita, KS. His three greatest passions were his work, his family and his last love of all, his motorcycle. Floyd loved to entertain his grandkids, Matt, Andy (Michelle), Tyler, Josh, Colby, Rebecca, Sadee, Jesse, Heather, and McKenzie, with his fiddle and harmonica.

Survived by his sweetheart, Jan; brothers, Claude and Roy; sisters, Wilma (Tom) Kating, Marty; daughters, Wendy (Ray) Metz, Jacque (John) Clarke; son, Greg (Wendy) Colibert. Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a son, David.

Services will be Thurs. Sept 6, 2001, 11a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 S. 1700 E, Sandy, UT where friends may call Wed. Sept 5, 2001, 6-8 p.m. and Thurs. one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
