Jimmie E. Romine, 67, beloved husband, father, brother, step-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away Sept. 19, 2001 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, and fibrosis in his lungs.
Born March 31, 1934 in the state of Kansas to Paul E. and Katie Edwards Romine.
He married Margo Yates June 10, 1961, after Jim received a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Montana State University.
Jim was an excellent
father, and friend who loved his family, golf, and fishing. Jim spent four years in the Air Force in Japan before he attended college. Jim was employed at Hercules Inc and Alliant for over 30 years before retiring in 1991.
Jim is survived by his wife Margo; sons, Jeff and Mark, all of Salt Lake City; brothers, Mike of Spokane, WA; Tom, of Billings, Mont.; nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren
Memorial Services will be held Monday Sept. 24, 2001 7 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 E. 7800 So. (Bengal Blvd). Interment
in Montana. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Inc., 1501 N.W. 9th Ave. Bob Hope Rd Miami, Florida 33136-1494.
