VERNAL - <! > Glen S. Reynolds, age 75, passed away September 21, 2001, at his home after a lingering illness.
Glen was born Oct 6, 1925, in Vernal, UT to Fred and Edna Bullock Reynolds. He married Frona "Toni" Lorraine Openshaw June 2, 1947, in the Manti LDS Tem-ple. They are the parents of six children. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1944 to 1946. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Glen served faithfully in many capacities, serving as Young Men's pres-ident, Scout Master, Elders Quorum president, bishop, high counselor, and stake missionary. Glen worked in the Maintenance Department of the Uintah School District and for the Uintah County for many years. He also ran his own small meat cutting business.
He is survived by his wife, Toni; children, Linda (Keith) Murray; Kenneth (Ann) Reynolds; Fred (Sheila) Reynolds, all of Vernal; Marilyn (Lee) Broadbent, Coalville, UT; JoAnn Gar-vin, Longview, TX, Kirk (Sandi) Reynolds, Blackfoot, ID; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cal Dee Reynolds, Ned Reynolds, Deloss Reynolds; and sisters, Pat Beck, Dixie Ault.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Beldon, Elmo, Jay; sisters, Afton, Madge, Rhoda, Donna; and grandson, Kevin Reynolds.
Services will be Tues. Sept 25, 2001, 11 a.m. in the Naples LDS Chapel. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. at Thomson-Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and at the Church one hour prior to the services. Burial, Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors by the American Legion.
