Following is a list of cooking classes in the region during the next few weeks:

Four Chefs, Four Seasons will be hosted Sept. 27 at Bambara, 202 S. Main in Salt Lake City, hosted by Bambara's chef Scott Blackerby, who welcomes chefs David Jones (Log Haven), Jonathan Perno (Metropolitan) and Zane Holmquist (Stein Ericksen Lodge). Cost: $65 per person, 363-5454.

Frank Granato Importing Co., 1391 S. 300 West, offers Saturday classes from 2-3:30 p.m. "Product Tasting," Sept. 29; "Contemporary Italian Cooking," Oct. 6; "Italian Cookies," Oct. 20; "Classic Seafood Dishes," Oct. 27. Cost per class, $15. Advance registration, 486-5643.

Peterson's Bosch Kitchen Center, 6265 Highland Drive (2000 East), offers free classes Tuesday at noon and Saturday at 10 a.m. "Pizza, Pizza, Pizza," Sept. 29; "Pasta, Fresh and Unique," Oct. 2; "Juicing and Blender Drinks," Oct. 9; "Simple Great Cooking," Oct. 13; "Breakfast Ideas," Oct. 16. Thanksgiving Point, Lehi, "Cooking With Maple Syrup," 7-9 p.m. Sept. 27. Cost: $15 per person. Registration, 768-4950.

The Metropolitan, 173 W. Broadway, offers German "Octoberfest" 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 6. Cost: $50 per person plus $25 for beverage pairing. Reservations, 364-3472.
