CHAPEL HILL, N.C.(AP) — A blind man settled a lawsuit with a restaurant that refused him service because of his guide dog. Dave Oberhart said he will accept the offer from Iris Andros, owner of Zorba's Restaurant, to donate $100 a month to a leader dog school for 55 months, make a public apology and welcome all service dogs to Zorba's.

Oberhart said Andros told him the dog couldn't come in her restaurant because it was a threat to other customers. She said she didn't know Oberhart was blind and had never seen a guide dog before the Oct. 7 incident.
