BYU

SOCCCER: The 17th-ranked BYU women's soccer team returns home to host Pac-10 foe Arizona and Boston University this weekend at 7 p.m. for Friday's game and 8 p.m. Saturday.

CROSS COUNTRY: The BYU men's cross country team will travel to Minnesota to compete in the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29. The women's cross country team will also be on the road this weekend, traveling to Palo Alto, Calif., to compete in the Stanford Invitational.

TENNIS: BYU men's and women's tennis teams will challenge 15 other teams at the World Team Tennis National Collegiate Championships in San Diego this weekend. Brooke Beverly, Lu Oswald and Lindsay Ferrell will play for the women and Gert Vilms and Carlos Lozano will play for the men.

VOLLEYBALL: Utah State volleyball (4-3; 1-0) continues its three-game homestand against Santa Barbara on Thursday at 7 p.m. and vs Cal Poly on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.

SOCCER: The women's soccer team (2-3-1) travels to Las Vegas to meet Northern Arizona (3-3) on Friday and UNLV (2-3-2) on Sunday.

Utah State's men's and women's cross country teams travel to the Stanford Invitational this weekend, after not competing since the Idaho State Invitational on Sept. 1. The Aggies were scheduled to have Sept. 8 and 22 off and did not compete in the Montana State Invitational on Sept. 15 after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.

TENNIS: The Aggie men's and women's tennis teams start their pre-season play this weekend at the Weber State Invitational against the Wildcats.

The tournament is non-team scoring and gives the teams a glimpse at what they are up against this spring when regular season play begins.

TENNIS: Weber State, Utah State and BYU teams will compete in WSU's Pepsi Wildcat Tennis Tournament this Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m.
