Jennie Marble Nielsen, 93, passed away Sept.26, 2001, at Peach Tree Place where she had resided for the past three years.

She was born March 1, 1908 in Deweyville, Utah, a daughter of Nathaniel Peter and Harriet Adelaide Loveland Marble.

Jennie married C. Henry Nielsen June 28, 1932 in the Logan LDS Temple. Henry passed away August 15, 1995. Jennie served a mission in the Bangor Maine Area prior to her marriage. She was very active in the LDS church serving in many capacities.

Jennie enjoyed oil painting, gardening, ceramics and knitting.

She enjoyed her many shopping trips to Wendover. She loved spoiling her many grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons; Earl H. (Ilona) Nielsen of Bountiful and Rees C. ( Mary Anne) Nielsen of Pleasant View, seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four sisters; Eithel (Leon) Kerr, Alta (Carlyle)Johnson, Cleo (Harold) Denler of Tremonton and Dorothy (Van) Hendricks of Boise.

She was preceded in death by two sisters; Edythe (Milton) Hendricks and Luella (Wayne) Sandall, brother; Earl (Naomi) Marble, and one great-grandson, Wyatt Earl Allen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
