Together Again <! >
Oh, what tears of joy and warm embraces must have occurred in Heaven on September 25th, 2001 when Raymond Oscar Johnson took his place beside his eternal sweetheart, Margaret Louise Urwin Johnson.
Born on October 17th, 1911 to Oscar Claus and Sophia Augason Gunderson Johnson in Fountain Green, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brothers Elden and George, his sisters Ruth, Ruby,
Mildred, and Edna, a grandchild Margaret Ellen and one great-grandchild Jaidee. A joyful reunion must be taking place right now.
Ray married Margaret on April 11, 1936 and was later sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Together Ray and Margaret will continue to watch over their five children, Beverly (Ross) Aiken, Linda Johnson, Gayle (Dian) Johnson, Judy Johnson and Robert (Shirlene) Johnson, 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grand-children.
Although we will miss his presence greatly we rejoice in his journey for he truly did endure to the end. During the Depression, Ray served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He retired from Kennecott Copper after 32 years of service. He always planted a garden including many fruit trees and he raised chickens. He loved being with his family, and insisted that you "have a pop and stay awhile." He and Margaret served a mission together to the Church Genealogical Vaults. The family would like to thank those who have cared for him in the last years of his life. He was a father, grand-
father, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, husband, friend and neighbor.
All wishing to honor and celebrate this good man's earthly life, please join us for his funeral service on Saturday, Sept. 29th at 1p.m. at the Murray 8th Ward, 160 East 4600 South, where friends and family may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
