The newly completed Columbia River Washington Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Richland, Wash., will be open to the public for tours through Nov. 10. The temple will then be closed for a week preceding its dedication on Nov. 18.

No tours will be offered on Sundays. Four dedicatory sessions, closed to all but church members, are scheduled to accommodate members in the area.

The Columbia River Temple is the third in Washington. The church dedicated temples in Seattle in 1980 and Spokane in 1999. Plans for the third were announced in April 2000. The church currently has 106 operating temples, with 19 more announced or under construction.
