Spencer was born April 30, 1983 in Cardston, Alberta, Canada to Rodney and Jeanne Aldrich Pierson.
Spencer Pierson, age 18, of Bicknell, UT, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in a dirt biking accident. Spencer was a free spirit who was fearless passionate about life. He was a strong boy and never shirked the long, tiresome, sweaty task. Two of his favorite things were dirt biking and his dog Jake. He was gifted with animals and children. His long and loud early morning conversations with Jake were the wake up call for the rest of the family. Spencer was a kind and forgiving person who couldn't hold a grudge for more than 10 minutes. He loved his brother and sisters and was never too cool or proud to show affection to his family; he made it clear on a daily basis, as we did with him. Laughter, kindness and joy usually followed him wherever he went. He was a "people magnet" and was kind and approachable to everyone, whether they were popular or not. He was fiercely loyal to his friends.
Spencer was a gift and he will be missed by all of us who spent time with him, laughed with him, and sometimes cried with him. For those of us who knew and loved him, life will never be the same. We love you, Bud.
Survivors include his mother, Jeanne Aldrich and stepfather, Graydon Briggs; father, Rodney Pierson and family; brother, Brody Pierson; and three sisters, Amy Aldrich, Bonnie Pierson, and Eleanor Waters. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alice Briggs and Emile Aldrich.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2001 on the patio at 3 p.m. at the Briggs/Aldrich Residence, 374 South 300 East, Bicknell, Utah, where friends may call Monday from 2-3 p.m.
