Uvonna Larson Williams, 82, passed away August 31, 2001, at home in Draper. She was born in Mount Pleasant, UT, March 28, 1919 she was the daughter of Alvin Leander Larson and Deseret Parcell Larson.

She married Frank Leslie Williams, March 4, 1939. They solemnized their marriage Nov. 21, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Uvonna was involved in various church activities and was always there to help anyone in need. She loved spending time with her family, camping and fishing in the motor home. She also loved her little dogs. All who knew her were beneficiaries of Uvonna's cheerful, sweet and angelic personality. We are grateful for the privilege of having her in our lives. Uvonna will be deeply missed.

Uvonna was preceded in death by her parents, grandson and friend, Mark Carroll, and is now at peace and finally reunited with her loving husband and soul-mate, Frank Williams.

Uvonna is survived by son, Frank LeRoy (Karen) Williams, daughter, Lavin (Chuck) Quinn; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and sister, Velda Larsson.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Kathy Baird and her family of Draper for outstanding care, love and support they gave Uvonna during her stay with them. Also, the Rocky Mountain Hospice Professional team, Dr. Miller, Pat, Kathryn, Frankie, Julie, and Judy.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Sept. 8, 2001 at 2 p.m. In the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 So. 1700 E., Sandy where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment in the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT at approx. 4:45 p.m.
