Our beautiful beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away September 5, 2001 at the age of 84 years.

Born October 2, 1916 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Lyman Jonathan Packer and Margaret Caroline Romer Packer. She married Albert John Gygi on June 25, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple. Dad passed away June 27, 1997.

Mother spent her life giving service to others. Her family was her life. She was a dedicated, loving, giving person, doing all she could physically do for her family, her neighbors and church. She held many ward callings and positions in Primary and Relief Society.

She is survived by her children, Louise (George) Young, Linda Williams, Roger Allen Gygi and Dennis John Gygi, 20 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert, and son Gerald (Jerry) Albert Gygi and son-in-law, Robert Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Winder 8th Ward, 1361 East 4000 South, Salt Lake City, where friends and family my call from 11:15-12:45 prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
