Bernice Curley Foss, 87, danced into a new ballroom September 6, 2001, ending the long goodbye of Alzheimer's.

A woman of contrast, she was both a business professional and a homemaker, skilled in accounting while curious about metaphysics. Always learning and researching, yet a couture quality seamstress, and gold medal award winning ballroom dancer.

Bernice enjoyed life and took care of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, daughter and grandchildren in many different ways.

Her welcoming party includes husband, LeRoy Foss (1905-1974), parents George B. and Mary J. Bennett Curley, siblings Irene C. Jewett, Bill (William B.) Curley, and John Curley.

Forever benefiting from her influence are daughter, Sandra F. Orlob (Stan), grandchildren Tiffany, Sean Alan (Juliene) and Patrick Orlob, and great-grandchildren Oliver Alexander Orlob and Sean Corwin Orlob. Surviving siblings are Mildred McCauley, Florence Keany and J. Warren Curley, all of Yuma, Ariz., and Thomas A. Curley, Nibley, Utah.

Thanks to the Murray Care Center staff for their support. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a tea party Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Art Garden, 917 E. Vine St., Murray. Interment will take place at a future date.
