The Utah State Fair has announced winners in two competitions.

Here are the winners of the 2001 county booth competition:

Grand Prize: Iron County

Best Representation: Duchesne County

Most Attractive: Cache County

Most Educational: Millard County

Best Use of Fair Theme: Garfield County

Award of Merit: Davis County

Honorable Mentions: Washington County and Beaver County

All county booths are in Promontory Building. The State Fair runs daily through Sept. 16.

Also, two winners of the 2001 Miss Utah State Fair Scholarship Program were named:

The 2001 Miss Utah State Fair is Larissa Kanno, 20, daughter of Wendy Kanno of American Fork and Michael Kanno of Taylorsville. She resides in American Fork and graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor's degree in child and family studies.

The 2001 Miss Utah State Fair Attendant is Charlee Alynn Sorensen, 18, the daughter of Chris and Dana Lee Sorensen of Mount Pleasant.
