Nonie Townsend, born June 11, 1921, died Dec. 31, 2001, surrounded by her family.
As a member for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she led a full life and was well known for her work in the clothing industry, doll making and even being a clown for children's parties. She particularly loved being with her 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Vesta Anderson and a granddaughter, Tricia. She is survived by her four children John (Sylvia), Rich (Dyan), Doug (Barbara), and Ann (Carl) Shelley and her two sisters Marjean Day and Teddy Barker and brother Ed Anderson.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2002 at 12 Noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. A viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr., on Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
The family wishes to extend their overwhelming gratitude to Juanita Kiplinger for her loving care during our mother's final years.
