"My Buddy" <! >

Our best friend was tragically taken from us at Strawberry Reservoir as a result of a snowmobiling accident January 7, 2002 doing what he loved best, fishing.

Scott was born January 16, 1962 in American Fork, UT to Ted and Donna Sutter Ross of Payson, UT. He graduated from Wasatch High School in 1980 and started working for Mountain Bell at 16 years old and has been an employee of Qwest since then.

Scott married his best friend, Peggy Newsome in 1985. They reside in

Heber City.

Scott loved to elk and deer hunt with his friends and family, fish and pheasant hunt with his dogs Digger and Zeek, and golf with anyone who would go. His life was full and wonderful and ended too soon. He will be missed very much.

He is survived by his best friend and wife of 17 years, Peggy S. Ross; parents Ted and Donna Ross; sisters Julie and (Ronde) Larsen, Teri and (Paul) Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their many thanks to the doctors and nurses at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 11, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Heber East Stake Center, 2400 S. Mill Rd, Heber City. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, January 10, 2002 at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the LDS Church. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.
