Orlando B. "Landy" Krause, age 87, died Jan. 8, 2002 at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born Aug. 20, 1914 in Salt Lake City to Brigham and Lou Day Krause. Married to Margaret Elodie Kest, on February 14, 1937, in Oakland, CA.
Graduated from the first class at South High School. He was retired as a driver with the Greyhound Bus Lines after 30 years. Member of the Murray Elks Club. Member of the Monument Park 1st Ward. He was well known for his skill as a neighborhood handyman. Loved to play golf , fishing, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two daughters, Elizabeth Barr, Salt Lake City; and Catherine Simpson (Neal), Port Orchard, WA; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grand-children; sister, Evelyn Perry of California. Preceded in death by a sister, Edna Fritch and a step-brother,
Funeral Services on Saturday, Jan. 12th, 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Chapel, 2350 E. 1300 S., where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
