Dunston Bonham <! >

Passed away of congestive heart failure Monday, Jan. 7, 2002 a few days short of her 91st birthday.

Ellen was born Jan. 23, 1911 in Ogden, Utah to Walter Edward and Julia Clark. Orphaned at the age of seven, when both of her parents died during the 1918 flu epidemic, she and her brothers were raised by their grandfather and grandmother Clark as well as other loving relatives.

Married in 1927 to LeRoy Royle, later divorced. Married William Raymond Dunston in 1934 and afterwards sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Raymond died in a tragic

accident in 1949. Ellen married

Albert Bonham in 1951.

Drawing strength from her testimony, Ellen endured many hardships and difficulties. She found fulfillment in her family, friends and church service. She held positions of responsibility in Primary, Sunday School, and Relief Society. She worked in the Salt Lake Temple and enjoyed genealogy. The most rewarding and joyous time of her life was working by the side of her husband Raymond, on their farm in Colorado. Her life there was one of gratifying work, raising her two children, and being surrounded by Raymond's family, all of whom she loved very much. Ellen's love of service extended to the many people she met while working as an office nurse for Dr. Sharp Sanders. Some of those she met while there became her life-long friends. Ellen traveled the world enjoying each new adventure and group of people. She was always an example of strength and the ability to move on and make life happy. She faced adversities with dignity, faith, tolerance, and a sense of humor. All of those who loved her have learned so much from her example.
