Airline paranoia is scary

SHARE Airline paranoia is scary

This summer I plan on flying to Georgia to visit my father, and frankly I am downright scared to fly. Is it because of terrorist threats against the airlines? No. Is it because of the occasional lapse in security? No.

It is because of the recent wave of paranoia sweeping the airline industry. When government officials, who just happen to be of Arabian descent, can't fly, there is something wrong.

These kinds of witch hunts are not making air travel more secure. They never do. In conclusion, the only reason I am flying is because the train costs 10 times more (because I have airline employee friends) and will take 10 times longer.
