Marguerite Margaret Michels Mitchell passed away Thursday, January 10, 2002, surrounded by her loving grandsons.
She was born to John R. and Sylvia Stringham Michels on April 10, 1910 in Logan, UT. She married Robert William Mitchell, January 21, 1931. Later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple
She retired from Hill Air Force Base as a supervisor in supplies. She was a member of the Daughters Of The Utah Pioneers and also a member of the Federal Woman's Organization.
She is survived by daughter-in-law Carole; grandson, Brad (Debbie) Mitchell; granddaughter Susan
(Howard) Child; seven great-grandchildren, Trevor (Paulette),
Michael (Rachel), Tyler, Morgan, Brandon (Jenifer), Tawnee and KayLyn; three great-great-grand-children, Kyle, Shelby, and Haylie, and twins on the way; sister Virginia Thomas; sister-in-law, Edna Michels. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W.; daughter Peggy Vance; son, Bob; grandson, Sy Taylor; and three sisters, and seven brothers.
The family would like to thank the Salt Lake Home for their exceptional care.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Jan. 14th at 11 a.m. at Salt Lake City Cemetery, "N" St. at 4th Ave. A viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to graveside at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
