Lee James Elkins, 81, our loved and respected husband, father, and grandfather, pas-sed away peace-fully Jan 12, 2002, with his sons by his side.
He was born May 30, 1920 in Trinidad, CO. On June 4, 1952, Lee married Marjorie Moore in Elko, NV.
Lee worked at Kennecott Copper for 32 years as a Locomotive Engineer and was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors: wife, Marjorie, Copperton; children, Paul A. (Marsha), Kearns; James L., Copperton; Kenneth R. and special friend, Diana, Draper; Joe (Lisa), Copperton; Fred D. (Claudine), West Jordan; Mark, Huntington Beach, CA; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother; and brothers, Max and Fred Cardenas.
