Linda Hafey Paulk, age 39, died January 11, 2002 at her home after a two year battle with colon cancer.
She was born July 18, 1962 in Salt Lake City to Mark and Lucile Warner Hafey. She married Raymond Gene Paulk, June 21, 1997 in the Teton Mountains at the Jackson Hole Point Lookout. Ray will miss his fly fishing partner, soul mate, lover, chef, homemaker, secretary, and "all around, keep her husband out of trouble, wife." Linda and Ray loved nature and photography. She had a special, strong spirit, and will. She loved holidays and personal events where she would select unique gifts for people she felt close to. She will be a special addition to God's kingdom.
She was sensitive but at the same time had a determined nature and that's what made her unique. She had the will and heart of a Lioness. She was best friends to Shell, Michelle and her mother. Her dog, Moddy, was a close and constant companion and source of comfort during her illness.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; two sons, Ronald George and Tristan Tyler Morrill; stepdaughter Mindy Lee (Brodie) Frances; granddaughter, Brindi; mother, Lucile; sisters, Michelle Moyes and Daphne Morris; brother, Kevin; parents-in-law, Doyle Gene and Merle Paulk; brother-in-law, Leon; sister-in-law, Shell Horrocks; father, Mark (Mickey) Hafey; and many special relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2002, 11 a.m., at the Highland 7th LDS Ward, 3364 West 11400 South. Friends may visit Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, and at church Tuesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.
