Gilbert David (Bud) Carter, 78, died Jan 11, 2002 at home.

Born July 25, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Stanley and Rigmor Eliza-beth Carter. Mar-ried Ann Chase Carter March 15, 1969 in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in Salt Lake Temple.

Attended Haw-thorne Elemen-tary, Irving Jr. High, and South High Schools. Army Veteran, World War II. After the war he was a movie stuntman for 30 years. Automotive mechanic until retirement. Member LDS Church where he served in many callings. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, and for his honesty and in-tegrity in his business deal-ings.

Survived by wife, Ann; daughter, Kristine; children from previous marriage, David, Joann, Ruth, Karen, all of Austin, TX, Stanley, Tacoma, WA, Karen Goff, Murray; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; bro-thers and sisters, Stanley H., James L., Salt Lake, Carol Ann Arnspieger, Bountiful, JoAnn R. Sondrup, Denver, CO.

Services will be Wed. Jan 16, 12 noon, Monument Park LDS Fifth Ward chapel, 1930 S. 2100 E. Viewing Tues. 7-9 p.m., Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 E. 1300 S, and Wed. at the church 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bud's name has been established at Zions Bank.
