BOUNTIFUL - <! > Our dear son and brother Justin Robert (Rob) Tibbitts, born Nov. 26, 1973 to Robert O. and Bonnie J. Tibbitts of Bountiful, Utah died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002 after comp-lications from pneumonia.

Rob attended school in Bountiful and graduated from Woods Cross High School. Rob, a talented young man who loved life, despite its trials, loved soccer, and much of his time was spent playing soccer or managing the Utah Indoor Soccer, Inc. in Woods Cross. He was also a certified Official of the World Indoor Soccer League. Rob was a certified Phlebotomist and was also a trained Emergency Medical Technician, who loved working in the hospital and spreading his great sense of humor to those who needed it so much. His enthusiasm and dedication to service earned him employee of the month after only a few months of work.

Rob's real talent was his ability to bring laughter to everyone. Whether it was with his deer in the headlights and raptor impersonations, or dressing up as Batman and break dancing with Cat Woman to the cheers of the crowd, Rob loved life. Rob had a great love for music. And while he was never able to fully accomplish his career plans in music, he was simply a genius when it came to recording, mixing or playing music. Rob knew that music brought him peace and happiness and wanted everyone to share in his passion. For the last several years Rob suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, that was at times debilitating, yet when he had energy, you can be guaranteed that Rob was helping someone somewhere. Whether is was shoveling the neighbors driveways, cheering up a chronically ill friend or helping his mother with her business, Rob always worked beyond his physical limits. Rob had a very tender heart and would never go to bed before hugging his parents good night. Rob had an ability to connect with the youth in the neighborhood and his nieces and nephews who loved him so much.

Rob you will be missed, not only the absence of your smile, humor or hugs, but for your unconditional love and the touch of your spirit as it buoyed ours.

Rob is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ethel Tibbitts, grandfather, Joe Williams. Rob is survived by his parents, Robert O. and Bonnie J. Tibbitts; his siblings and their families, Shawn and Karen Tibbitts, Joseph and Kim Tibbitts, Christopher Tibbitts, Michelle and Kevin Johnson, and Holle and Lon McRae. He also leaves behind his beloved cat, Snowy.
