Evelyn Lona Lingmann Brown, 75, returned to her Father-in-Heaven on January 12, 2002.

She was born on January 21, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Ernst Gustav and Martha Johanna Hill Lingmann. Evelyn married Wallace Kay Brown on July 20, 1944, in the Logan Temple. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she held positions in all the organizations through out her life.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wallace; daughter, Annette; son, Allen; brothers, George and Hans Lingmann. She is survived by her children, Ronald Brown, Brigham City, UT; Maria

(Robert) Morby of Blue Springs, MO; Sharon Brown Coombs, daughter-in-law, Logan, UT; Karen (Richard) Eversull of Nibley, UT; Stephen (Suzanne) Brown of Roy, UT; 20 grand-children; 11 great-grand-children; sisters and brothers, Kathe Ramey, ID; Judy Snow, ID; Edith Jones, CA; Raymond Lingmann, Hoytsville, UT; Orson Lingmann, Upton, UT; Arlene Kippen, Morgan, UT; Delores Carlow, Norman Lingmann, Anita Lancaster, and Rhea Beckstead, all of Salt Lake City, UT.

Funeral services will be held Fri., Jan., 18, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Brigham City South Stake Center Chapel, 865 South 300 West. Friends may call on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City and on Friday, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in the Smithfield Cemetery in Smithfield, UT.
