Early Thursday morning at LDS Hospital, Jack passed away after a lengthy battle with Emphysema.
He was born December 28, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George E. and Sylvia L. Crittenden Kelly.
On September 11, 1948 he married Lorraine Goring at the Lion House in Salt Lake City.
Jack graduated from West High School and worked for ZCMI. He spent his career at Hill Air Force Base specializing in sheet metal manufacturing and retired in 1982 after 35 years.
He was an accomplished fast pitch softball pitcher locally in the 1940's. He enjoyed bowling in the singles league and mixed doubles with mom.
Survivors include Jack's wife Lorraine; sons, Raymond Kelly and Brent Kelly (Cortney); grandchildren: Jason Kelly (Brittanie), Laura Gonzalez (Paolo), Ryan Kelly, D.J. Kelly, and Reilly Kelly; two great-grandchildren Savannah and Nikolai Gonzalez; and a nephew Larry Hoffman (Mae).
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ed and Russ, his sister Mary, and his daughter Kristine.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Jan. 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Dr., where friends and family may call one hour prior to services.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the American lung Association.
