I was born Mar. 21, 1910 in Murray, Utah, to Henry Erickson and Emeline Fagg, and died at home Jan. 13, 2002.

I married Winona Stokes, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple Apr. 13, 1933 and we had 11 children. She died June 2, 1986. I married Drucella P. Petersen May 13, 1987. I was blessed with two loving mates. I graduated from Granite High School in 1929. I worked in the dairy business for ten years, then 30 years in the Salt Lake Post

Office and retired Oct. 31, 1969. I then worked in the Salt Lake Post Office Credit Union for eight years. I enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports and gardening, which I loved sharing the fruits of my labors with others. I was an active member of the LDS Church, where I filled many positions. I served in the Salt Lake Temple as an ordinance worker for many years, and as a missionary to Calgary, Alberta, Canada with my wife, Winona.

I am survived by my wife Drucella; sons Kenneth R. (Barbara), Henry S Salt Lake City, UT; Keith A. Manila, UT; Marvin A. Murray, UT; Brent F. (Mary) Riverton, UT; and daughters Nona Jean Ford, Salt Lake City, UT; Mary (Ray) Taylor, Mapleton, UT; Lynne (Laurence) Riding, Sandy, UT; Margie (James S.) Thorley, St. George, UT; Emeline (Eugene) Hockenbury, So. Jordan, UT; 36 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Emeline Beatrice (Clarence) Crabill, Melbeta, NE;

Leone (Albert) Wood, Provo, UT; and brothers Willard G. (LaVon), Salt Lake City, UT; David A. (Mary), Mesa, AZ; and Vernon R. (Earla) Sandy, UT.

Preceded in death by wife, Winona; son, Glen Lester; granddaughter, Toni Jacobson; parents; stepmother, Elena; three brothers, H. LeRoy, Eugene F and Ervin R; two sisters, Erma Erickson and Marie Gold.

Viewing will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Jan. 18, 2002 at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr., and 11:45-12:45 at the ward prior to services. Services will be Sat. Jan. 19, 2002 at Winder 10th Ward, 4366 So. 1500 E. at 1 p.m.

Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 So.
