LAYTON — A SuperTarget here was evacuated Friday night for about an hour and a half after a man called the store operator and said there were three bombs planted in the docking area.
After the threat, which occurred around 5:20 p.m., employees went to that area in the back of the store and saw a box wrapped in duct tape. Hill Air Force Base bomb technicians brought out bomb-sniffing dogs and determined it was safe to open the package, which contained a puzzle, said Layton Police Sgt. Travis Lyman. Police are still trying to find out the identity of the man who made the threat.
