SHARE Couples needed to teach in China

PROVO, Utah — The David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies at BYU is seeking qualified couples and individuals to teach at universities in the People's Republic of China.

Completed applications for the 2002-2003 academic year must be received by Friday, Feb. 15.

Successful applicants must be active members of the Church in good standing, age 69 or younger, in good health and in a secure financial situation.

Applicants with an advanced degree are preferred and at least one member of each couple is required to have a bachelor's degree. Because of housing limitations, couples with children are not accepted.

The Kennedy Center is in its 13th year of teacher placement. More than 500 people have participated in the program teaching English, British and American literature, economics, business, finance and law.
