MAGNA <! > - Our beloved father and grandfather, Rayful Jay Beagley Jr., 70, passed away Jan. 21, 2002.

Born Nov. 6, 1931 ten minutes before his twin brother, Ralph in Salt Lake City, Utah to Rayful J. Sr. and Eva Webber Beagley. He married Lila "Dee" Carrell April 3, 1954 in Elko, NV; she died Sept. 6, 2001.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the US Navy during the

Korean War, and worked his life as a carpenter and contractor. In 1957 he joined the Salt Lake Police Palomino Posse serving as Drill Master from 1970 until the club disbanded. He also served on the Days of 47 Rodeo committee since 1965. In 1977 he received a bone marrow transplant from his twin brother, and was the oldest living recipient.

Survived by his daughters, Patty (Wally) Orton and Connie (Darrell) Davis; sons, Jay and Rick (Cindie) Beagley; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Rose) Beagley; and sister, Marge (Ron) Bodell. Preceded in death by his wife; twin brother, Ralph; brother, Gene; and parents.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2002 at the Hunter West Stake Center, 7035 W. 3605 S. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, and Friday 9-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
