Gordon L. Hofhine, age 68 died of cancer January 20, 2002 at home with his loving family at his side.
He was born Dec. 27, 1933 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Orion and Irene Hofhine. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in the United Kingdom. After an Honorable Discharge he graduated with a Business Degree from the University of Utah. He met and married his wife "Lizzy" (Mary Elizabeth) in 1961 and they have enjoyed a loving and fulfilling life together for 41 years. Gordon was a partner in the advertising firm of Finlayson, Hofhine & Hall until 1978. His passion for advertising kept him in the industry after the company was sold. Gordon and his business colleagues maintained life-long friendships and enjoyed many interests including card playing, boating, golfing and fishing. He was a devoted and loving husband and father as well as a fine role model to Elaine and Susan and a cherished friend to all who knew him. Gordon is survived by his wife Liz; his son Curtis (Dolores) and his grandchildren Sydney and Christian (CT); his daughter Jenny (Curtis) Mitchell; and his brother Brent (Esther) Hofhine (AZ).
