Former KKAT-101.9 FM morning show personality Dawn College is suing the radio station's parent company, Clear Channel Broadcasting, alleging sexual harassment, gender discrimination, emotional distress and contract violations.

College, who used the last name Kennedy on air, filed the suit Tuesday in federal court, alleging she was constantly subjected to "blatant computer pornography" in e-mails from Clear Channel employees and upper management.

Examples of the alleged pornographic e-mails were included with the lawsuit but were filed under seal due to their graphic nature.

The suit also alleges that when the three-member morning team was fired in August 2000, male co-workers Richard Cano and Rick Shane were offered the company's facilities to obtain new jobs and encouraged to reapply within the company. College, however, says she was "expressly told she would not be considered for any further jobs."

College also claims Clear Channel illegally forced her to sign a waiver giving up her right to sue in order to pick up her final paycheck. Tom Sly, vice president and general manager of Clear Channel's Salt Lake operations, said it is company policy not to comment on situations involving former employees.
