GLENWOOD/ANNABELLA, UT<! > - Paul LaVoy Larsen, 64, of Glenwood and Annabella, Utah, passed away, Jan. 23, 2002, at his home in Annabella, Utah.

He was born May 21, 1937, in Elsinore, Utah, to Nathan Paul and Alice Jacobson Larsen. He married Sherry Ann Kennedy, June 23, 1955, in Marysvale, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple, January 16, 1963, they later divorced. He married

Gloria Savage Brown, October 1, 1999, in the Manti LDS Temple.

Paul was an active member of the LDS Church where he served in the Glenwood Bishopric, Ward Clerk, and on the High Council. He had an avid love for horses and loved showing his horses where he received many awards. He loved the mountains. Paul's favorite time of year was hunting season. He also liked to fish, hike, camp and ride four-wheelers. He served on the Glenwood Town Board, Irrigation Board, and many other committees. Paul operated a small family farm in Glenwood and also ran the Glenwood Store/Garage. He worked for the Sigurd Gypsum plant for 11 years and after 32 years with U.D.O.T. as a Lab Technician Paul

He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Annabella; children, Pauline (Dean) Bulloch, Cedar City; Shan Larsen, Sioux Falls, SD; Linda (Bruce) Martin, St. George; Laurie (Ben) Harris, Cedar City; Jeff (Danielle) Larsen, Gainesville, VA; 15 grandchildren; mother, Alice Larsen, Glenwood; brothers and sisters, Clayone (Richard) Torgerson, Koosharem; Sheril (Judy) Larsen, Sandy; Sharon Allen, Kingston; Brent Larsen, Glenwood. Paul's greatest love was his family.

Preceded in death by his father, Nathan Paul Larsen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at 1 p.m. in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Glenwood on Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
