The Utah House on Wednesday passed a bill that will increase to $60 the fine for using tobacco by those under 19.

HB55 by Rep. Carl Saunders, R-Weber, would also require one or both parents of the smoking teenager to attend a court-ordered class with their child on the hazards of smoking.
