HONOLULU (Reuters) — Scottish rock musician Stuart Adamson had a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit when he was found hanged in Hawaii last month, the Honolulu Medical Examiner's office said Thursday, ruling the death a suicide.

It said Adamson, 43, former lead singer of Big Country, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.279. His body was found in his hotel room Dec. 16.
