- Darrell V. Brown passed away January 24, 2002 to the welcoming arms of his beloved wife, Macie and son, Terry Brown.

He was born Aug 28, 1919 in Chester, ID to Raymond Nathaniel and Lottie Clark Brown and married Macie Bell Nov 1, 1939. During his 82 years here on earth, he served in the Army during World War II, and retired from 42 years of employment with Union Pacific Railroad. He endured several hard-ships, but through it all he was filled with good humor, strong beliefs, and creative ideas, all of which were combined to mold one of the greatest of men.

His legacy will carry on through the lives of his son, Dell Brown; daughters, Janice Beardall, DeAnne Vigil; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchil-dren. Darrell is also survived by daughter-in-law, Connie Brown Fowler; brother, Dean; and three sisters, Hope, Zella, and Artis. The lessons of life and survival that he taught us will remain in our minds as he will forever in our hearts. We love you grandpa!
