The University of Utah's Intermountain Academy for Leadership in Higher Education will present a conference Feb. 25 and 26 to look at "Changing Faces of Utah: Conversation and Collaboration on Issues of Race, Gender and Ethnicity in Utah Public and Higher Education." It will be held in the Saltair Room of the Olpin Student Union.
Panelists will examine the transition from secondary to higher education. Speakers will include University of Utah President J. Bernard Machen; David P. Gardner, University of California and U. president emeritus; Tim Washburn, University of Washington executive director of admissions and records; Enrique Morales, University of Washington assistant vice president for minority affairs, and Anita Madrid, director of the Berkeley Pledge program.
