Don Rickles will be hurling insults in Atlantic City, N.J., for at least two years.

The 75-year-old King of Zing, who has roasted and toasted the famous for decades, signed a two-year contract with the Tropicana Casino and Resort. He'll do at least five three-night engagements at the Tropicana Showroom through 2004.

"Had I not signed with them, I'd probably be working under the boardwalk," Rickles said in a statement. His first performances are scheduled for April 12-14, then again July 12-14.

"With all of the artists to choose from, we are thrilled to retain a genuine talent like Don Rickles. He epitomizes the type of classic entertainment that the Atlantic City boardwalk was built on," Tropicana President Pamela Popielarski said Monday.

Rickles also has a contract with Boyd Gaming Corp. to perform at the Stardust Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
