June Heather Humes Waller, 69, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Jan. 27, 2002.

She was born June 25, 1932 in Fruitland, Utah, to Joseph Alma Humes and Elva Young Humes. Upon high school graduation, she married J.B. (Slick) Waller and together they shared 51 years of marriage. For the first 12 years of their marriage they traveled throughout the west before settling in American Fork, Utah in 1962. June then spent the next ten years employed at the Tooele Army Depot working in the postal service group.

Throughout her lifetime she was an avid gardener, immaculate housekeeper and a fabulous cook; she also loved to read and watch professional sports. Her personification of such traits as loyalty, responsibility, love, and commitment were penetrating and profound, and inspired us all.

June is survived by her son Russell Waller; her daughter Rita (David) Olson; and her beloved granddaughter Natalie Olson. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Robert

(Violet) Humes, Allen (LaDena) Humes, Ella Mae (DuWayne) Johnson, Norma (LaMon) Lott, James (Brada) Humes. She was preceded in death by her husband; by her mother, Elva Young Humes and father, Joseph Alma Humes; also by sisters, Thelma, and Josie Pace.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 31st, at 11 a.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork; where friends and family may call Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the American Fork Cemetery.
