GLENWOOD, UTAH<! > -Our dear wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grand-mother, Phyllis Ann Crane Powell, peacefully passed away on Sat-urday evening Jan. 26, 2002, in the Utah Valley Hospital at Provo, Utah.
She was born in Salina, Utah the daughter of Lincoln and Ruth Gates Crane. She married Ray L Powell September 23, 1942 at Richfield, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 18, 1968. She enjoyed her family and friends, horses, horse back riding, was a member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club, camping and she was a beautiful seamstress. As a member of the LDS Church, she served in local and stake organizations. She retired from the Salt Lake City School District after 20 years of employment.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ray; children, Margo (Tim) Miles of Mantua, Utah, Kenneth Ray (Lynadale) Powell of West Bountiful, Utah; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Stanley R (Janise) Crane of Toquerville, Utah. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul, and her parents.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, 12 noon at the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary on Wed. from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Glenwood Thurs. from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Funeral
