Liley Louisa Turner Rolfson, 95 years old, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001 in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age. We honor her after a wonderful life as a wife, mother, homemaker and grandmother.

Born December 9, 1906 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mason Turner and Emma Louisa Brown Turner, and was the last survivor of seven siblings. She married Ray Phillips Rolfson on April 8, 1931 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death January 6, 1998.

She is survived by her children Ray Dwayne Rolfson of Annapolis, Maryland; Geraldine Court of Mountain View, Alberta, Canada; Glen Rolfson of Draper, Utah; and Don Rolfson of Spring, Texas. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 53 great-grand-children; and 17 great-great-grand-children. She enjoyed life, homemaking, crafts, gardening and collecting inspirational poems and stories. She also enjoyed visits from her grandchildren.

Liley was always an active member of the LDS Church and served in many positions. She graduated from Granite High School in 1925, attended Salt Lake Business College, and then worked for the Secretary of State office until she married.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2002 at Larkin Sunset Lawn Chapel, 2350 E. 1300 So., Salt Lake City, Utah at 2 p.m. Friends may call on Friday evening January 4, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Salt Lake City Cemetery, next to her husband.
