COPPERTON-<! > A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Jessie V. Seal Neilsen, 85 died Jan. 29, 2002 in Farmington, Utah surrounded by her family.
Born Nov. 26, 1916 in Herriman, Utah to Horace Martin and Emma Virginia Bodell Seal. Married Leland D. Neilsen Oct. 15, l937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, He Preceded her in death 51 years ago.
Jessie worked hard and served as a mother and father to her surviving children: Wayne and Wanda Neilsen, and Barbara and Ed Deakin, both Riverton; Virginia Christensen, West Jordan; and Marty and Judy Neilsen, Farmington. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grand-children, sisters, June Draper, Riverton; Mary Beth Walker, St. George; Beverly Carson Orem; and Joy Jensen, Sandy; sister-in-law Joyce Seal, Midvale.
She was active in the LDS church and served in many callings. Postmaster in the Lark Post Office for many years. The family would like special thanks to go to Country Care Assisted living and staff, Hospice and a special friend Frieda.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Copperton Ward 350 W. Hillcrest. Friends may call Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. Riverton. and on Friday one hour prior at the church. Interment in the Midvale Cemetery.
