SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Utah Grizzlies visit the East Coast for the first time as members of the American Hockey League Friday night when they visit the Springfield Falcons (Phoenix Coyotes/Tampa Bay Lightning).

The Grizz, who lead the Western Division with a 20-14-3-2 record, will do so without top goaltender Wade Flaherty. He's out with a strained muscle in his leg and was replaced on the roster by Andrew Allen, who was playing with Macon of the ECHL.

Utah completes its four-game road trip Saturday at Bridgeport (New York Islanders). The next Grizz home game is Jan. 9 against Chicago.
