Florence Kehl Sonnenburg Long, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 3, 2002 after a short bout with pneumonia.

Born March 28, 1915 in Salt Lake City to Carl Her-man Sonnenburg and Matilda El-vina Kehl. She married Marion (Woody) S. Long Oct 3, 1950 in Ely, NV. He passed away June 26, 1960.

She took piano lessons for many years and was an accomplished pianist. She loved to play Honky Tonk and Boogie Woogie.

She is survived by her two sisters, Esther (Marshall) Axcell, Beverly Christiansen; as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Pearl Hammers, Ruth Gibson; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Christiansen, Edison Gibson.

Graveside services will be Mon. Jan 7, 2002, 2:30 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. A viewing will be 1:15-2:15 p.m. prior to services at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT.

The family would like to thank the staffs of A & E and Friendship Villa for providing Flo with a caring and comfortable home for many years.
