OREM — Ricky Clemons poured in 51 points to lead 17th-ranked College of Southern Idaho to a 116-105 overtime victory over Utah Valley State College Saturday.
The 51 points were the most ever by an individual against UVSC, breaking the old mark of 44 set by Dixie's Val Jones in 1973. Clemons had seven three-pointers and was 12-for-15 at the line.
Clemons helped CSI come from seven points down in the final three minutes of regulation. UVSC overcame a 14-point second-half deficit, thanks to the scoring off Chris Handy.
