SHARE Terry helps Vikings roll over Dons

SPANISH FORK — Heidi Terry led a balanced Pleasant Grove attack with 14 points as the Vikings picked up a 62-58 Region 6 victory over Spanish Fork Thursday.

The Dons were led by Molly Nielson, who recorded 20 points.

TIMPANOGOS 48, JORDAN 39: The T-Wolves overcame a sluggish first half to rally past the Beetdiggers.

MTN. VIEW 68, HILLCREST 22: Danielle Cheesman recorded 25 points and 16 rebounds in leading the Bruins to another easy victory. Twelve different Mountain View players scored in the rout.

ALTA 42, BRIGHTON 27: Alta's Jill Cameron had a game-high 15 points and teammate Jenn Cook added eight points, eight boards and six steals as the Hawks topped Brighton.


FREMONT 56, BOX ELDER 35: Fremont's Amy Russell netted 15 points as the Silver Wolves bombed the Bees. Box Elder leading scorer Tiffany Shaw suffered a concussion in the second quarter and did not return.

BONNEVILLE 43, WEBER 37: The Lakers used a solid team effort to pick up the road victory.

MTN. CREST 66, LOGAN 59: Logan's Heather Hansen buried three foul shots in the final seconds to send the game into overtime, which was eventually won by the Mustangs. Kallee Kennington led Mountain Crest with 23 points while Hansen led the Grizzlies with 21.


AM. FORK 53, SPRINGVILLE 31: Amie Toone, Ashlee Allen and Shaelynn Hall all racked up double figures for the Cavemen. Toone added 17 rebounds to go along with her 14 points.


BEN LOMOND 43, TOOELE 32: The Scots used a 15-8 fourth-quarter run to pull away from the Buffaloes. Ben Lomond's Jenny Hatch led all scorers with 15 points.

MORGAN 64, GRANITE 36: Melanie Haddock, Cheryl Blazzard and Jody Wangsgard all scored in double figures in leading the Trojans to the easy win. Morgan jumped out to an 18-1 first quarter lead in the rout.

BEAR RIVER 47, OGDEN 27: Courtnie Woerner recorded 20 points and 13 rebounds in helping the Bears to the easy win. Bear River outshot Ogden 50 percent to 20 percent.


EMERY 53, DELTA 41: Emery's Tara Powell exploded for 26 points as the Spartans downed Delta.

CARBON 52, NORTH SANPETE 40: Carbon's Cassie Warburton netted 17 as the Dinos topped a pesky North Sanpete team.


SNOW CANYON 45, CANYON VIEW 33: The Warriors outscored Canyon View 29-18 in the second half in picking up the win. Ashley Whitehead led Snow Canyon with 12 points. Canyon View struggled by shooting 10 of 30 from the foul line.

DIXIE 44, PINE VIEW 41: A Pine View turnover with 18 seconds left helped Dixie to the victory. Latanna Pikula had 11 points for the Panthers.

CEDAR CITY 38, HURRICANE 37: With three seconds remaining and a chance to put her team ahead, Karrie Matheson was not about to miss again. She hit the second of two free throws to snap a 37-37 tie as the Redmen rallied from a 16-9 halftime deficit to defeat the Tigers. Matheson led Cedar City with 12 points while Sheila Robertson led Hurricane with 18.


JUDGE MEMORIAL 60, PARK CITY 32: Rose Hamilton's 15 points helped Judge blow by Park City.


SAN JUAN 48, GRAND 32: Suraya Atcitty's 12 second-half points helped the Broncos tie up Grand.


SOUTH SUMMIT 57, ROWLAND HALL 48: South Summit's Leah Tapp netted 20 points as the Wildcats downed Rowland Hall.


ENTERPRISE 57, PAROWAN 22: Sam Moyle and Randi Hunt combined for 41 points as Enterprise bucked the Rams.


MANTI 43, NORTH SEVIER 40: North Sevier's Liz Hales hit one of her two free throws with five seconds left to send the game to overtime, but the Wolves fell to Manti behind Shantelle Pili's 18 points and 16 rebounds.

GUNNISON 44, SOUTH SEVIER 38: Gunnison held 6-foot-2 Alisa Rose to three points in the second half as the Bulldogs edged South Sevier. Shilo Belnap and Jessica Goble combined for 21 points.


DUGWAY 69, WENDOVER 34: Dugway's Natasha Pagan had a game-high 18 points and Kerri Phillips and Megan Rose added 27 as the Mustangs stomped Wendover.

TINTIC 54, MERIDIAN 16: Tintic's Emily Carter led the way with 15 points and Dayna Currie added 10 as the Miners blasted Meridian.


VALLEY 66, MILFORD 49: Valley's Jana Heaton netted 16 points as the Buffaloes tied up Milford.

PANGUITCH 79, WAYNE 49: Panguitch's Camile Christensen exploded for 29 points and Lacee Leach, Maxi Miller and Alison Yardley each added 10 as the Bobcats cruised to a win over Wayne.


ALTAMONT 44, MANILA 38: Marlee Mower and Lynette Burton recorded half of the Longhorns' points in the victory.

RICH 81, TABIONA 42: The Rebels' Maren Hanson poured in 22 points as Rich clobbered Tabiona.


SL CHRISTIAN 44, LAYTON CHRISTIAN 43: Alisha Edmund's free throw in the final seconds helped the Dragonslayers escape with the region win. Halen Barden led Salt Lake Christian with 18 points while Edmund added 13.

SL LUTHERAN 50, WATERFORD 36: Laurel Price and Stacy Knudsvig each recorded 13 points in leading the Lynx past the Ravens. Salt Lake Lutheran jumped out to a 25-9 halftime lead and never looked back.

ICS 58, MT. VERNON 28: Jackie Kopetz recorded 13 points while teammates Jessica Newhouse and Libby Armstrong each chipped in 12 as the Lions ripped the Patriots.


GREEN RIVER 56, EAST CARBON 44: Green River's Tawni Bigelow and Ashlee Richards both scored in double figures as the Pirates moved past East Carbon.

WHITEHORSE 63, NEWCOMB, N.M. 45: Whitehorse's Deanna Tapaha and Duchena Martin combined for 28 points as the Raiders topped Newcomb, N.M.
