I-15 in Davis too jammed

SHARE I-15 in Davis too jammed

After viewing the horrific aftermath of two accidents where vehicles crossed the center divider on I-15 in Layton the past two months, one has to wonder where UDOT has its priorities.

The freeway through Davis County is too crowded to be ignored any longer. The very least that should be done is to put up some kind of center barrier and/or lower the speed limit. The failure of UDOT to recognize what should be done is unconscionable.

The addition of lanes and center divider from North Salt Lake to Farmington solved only one area's problem, but ignoring the rest of Davis County to build the Legacy Highway has put the rest of us at risk. Davis County doesn't end at Farmington; building the Legacy is needed, but public safety should come first.
