GOLDEN, Colo., (Reuters) — Two minor earthquakes were recorded Sunday in uninhabited areas of Alaska's Aleutian Islands, the U.S. Geological Survey reported early Monday.
According to duty geologist Bruce Presgrave, the first occurred about 3 p.m. MDT about 105 miles west-southwest of Nicolski, Alaska.
The second occurred seven minutes later in the same area. The epicenters were both in an uninhabited area.
