AMERICAN FORK — Whole Living Inc., doing business as Brain Garden, said Monday that sales for 2001 increased by 22 percent over the total for 2000.
Estimated sales for the whole-foods nutrition company were more than $6.3 million, up from nearly $5.2 million in 2000.
During 2001, the direct-sales company entered the market in Japan, introduced new products and two educational packages and saw a 19 percent increase in the worldwide distributor base.
Whole Living stock was trading at 37 cents early Monday, down 4 cents during the morning. In the past year, the price has ranged from 26 cents to $1.10.
